چکیده
A mesoporous Zr-G-C3N4 nanomaterial was synthesized by a succinct-step ultrasonication technique and used for Cu2+ ion uptake in the aqueous phase. The adsorption of examined varying operating parameters, including initial metal concentration, contact time, pH value. nanosorbent displays graphitic carbon nitride (g-C3N4) ZrO2 peaks with crystalline size ~14 nm, as determined XRD analysis. sorbent demonstrated BET-specific surface area 95.685 m2/g pore volume 2.16 × 10−7 m3·g−1. Batch mode tests revealed that removing Cu (II) ions pH-dependent, maximal removal achieved at = 5. adsorptive process is well described Langmuir isotherm pseudo-second-order kinetics model. maximum capacity nanocomposite to be 2.262 mol·kg−1 time 48 min. results confirmed fabricated effective regenerable could potent adsorbent heavy metals from systems.

In this study chitosan hydrogel beads with porosity ~ 0.86 and diameter ~ 20.07 mm were prepared from 85 % deacetylated chitosan for removal of Cd2+ ions from aqueous solutions. Chitosan powder was dissolved into dilute acetic acid as solvent and formed into spherical beads using a phase inversion technique. The effect of temperature, initial ...
متن کاملRemoval of parachlorophenol from the aquatic environment by recycled used tires as an adsorbent: Characterization, adsorption, and equilibrium studies
Parachlorophenol has an extended usage in refineries, petrochemical industries, insecticide, and herbicide manufacturing industries. Tire a solid waste, which is disposed in large amounts each year, a large number of them in landfills can cause irreparable environmental impacts. Consequently lots of efforts were done to produce activated carbon from used tires. Activated carbon was made in labo...
متن کاملSynthesis of Ethylenediamine-modified Ordered Mesoporous Carbon as a New Nanoporous Adsorbent for Removal of Cu(II) and Pb(II) Ions from Aqueous Media
The mesoporous carbon (CMK-3) functionalized with ethylenediamine (EDA) has been synthesized (CMK-3-EDA) and applied as a new mesoporous adsorbent for removal of Cu(II) and Pb(II) cations from aqueous solutions. Nitrogen adsorption–desorption measurements (BET) show that surface area, pore size and pore volume of CMK-3 were significantly changed after amine modification. The BET surface area an...
متن کاملAdsorption Equilibrium and Kinetics of Lead Ion onto Synthetic Ferrihydrites
Batch experiments were conducted to study the adsorption behaviors of lead ion (Pb2+) onto ferrihydrites prepared using three different procedures which were characterized by textural analysis (BET). The adsorption removal of Pb2+ by the three ferrihydrites (called FH-1, FH-2 and FH-3, respectively) were compared, and FH-3 shows fast adsorption kinetics as well as hig...
متن کاملRemoval of Manganese(II) from Aqueous Solution by Chemically Activated Thuja Occidentalis Leaves Carbon (CATLC) as an Adsorbent: Adsorption Equilibrium and Kinetic Studies
In this research paper, chemically activated Thuja Occidentalis leaves carbon (CATLC) is used as an adsorbent for the expulsion of Mn(II) from aqueous solution. CATLC is characterized by FTIR, SEM and EDX. The effect of pH, initial Mn(II) concentration, CATLC dosage and contact time on the adsorption performance of CATLC for Mn(II) ions are examined by batch studies. The results reveal that CAT...
